1. How do I book a session with Emberthorne Studio?
Booking is simple. Start by submitting an inquiry through the contact form with your preferred date and session type. Once availability is confirmed, a retainer and signed agreement are required to secure your session date. After booking, you’ll receive detailed information to help you prepare.
2. Do you travel for sessions?
Yes. We love capturing memories wherever your story takes you. Travel fees may apply depending on the location and distance.
3. Is a deposit required to secure my date?
Yes. A non-refundable retainer is required to officially reserve your session date. The remaining balance is due prior to your session. This ensures your date is exclusively held for you.
4. What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Sessions may be rescheduled with advance notice, subject to availability. Retainers are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date within a reasonable timeframe. Cancellations without notice may result in forfeiture of the retainer.
5. What if this is my first professional photoshoot?
That’s completely okay. Most of our clients are not professional models. You will receive gentle direction and guided posing throughout your session. We also provide a curated pose guide to help you feel prepared and confident.
6. When will I receive my photos?
Your edited gallery is typically delivered within 2–3 weeks of your session. During busier seasons, turnaround times may vary slightly. You will be notified once your gallery is ready.
7. How many images are included, and can I purchase more?
Your session includes a set number of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in a private online gallery. Additional images are available for purchase if you would like to expand your collection.
8. Will you share my photos on social media?
Emberthorne Studio may share selected images for portfolio, website, or social media use unless otherwise requested. We respect your privacy and understand that some clients prefer their images to remain private. If you would like your session to remain confidential, simply let us know prior to your session and we will honor your request.
